The Tally Ho Inn is believed to have been built around 1750 and was originally a working farm and the Estate Manager's House to the Aswarby Estate who still own the freehold to this day.
The current owners Sean and Sharon McClements pride themselves on the quality of the fine pub food served. Their mission statement is "Everything Local' and this can be seen with their good quality traditional pub favourites created from locally sourced produce and served by their local and friendly team of staff. For example, the meat is supplied by local butchers and the fruit and vegetables from the local markets.
The first experience you will encounter with us will be our warm and friendly welcome from our front of house team when you enter through the doors into our bar which sports a log burner, real log fires and newly refurbished decor throughout.
When our guests choose to dine with us they are always assured a choice of fine dishes made using the finest ingredients from locally sourced suppliers, served by our local front of house team.

It's ok. I really enjoyed my pint in the bar and (after staying the night) breakfast the next morning was served promptly and was tasty and hot. The room we stayed in was basic but adequate. Overall, I think we got what we paid for. Thanks Tally Ho Inn.
Lovely old coaching Inn, undergoing renovations. But that didn't effect the very warm welcome. The staff are excellent hosts, the rooms very clean & nicely decorated. The food all very cooked & a very good choice. Again excellent choice for breakfast & again freshly cooked to order.
We were a party of 9 visiting the area for a family get together with our 4 Spaniels. The food was lovely and very well presented from a full and varied menu. Staff were very efficient and helpful Water bowls provided for our dogs and would certainly recommend .
We went today for the first time! What a great place! The restaurant is very nice, the staff are very friendly & the food is delicious! Easy to get there (it is, after all, by the road) ... we are definitely coming back!
Brilliant find, accommodation spot on, very clean and tidy bed very comfortable great nights sleep with tea and coffee facilities available also in the room. Food was excellent as was the selection of Batemans ales very good value for money, owners and staff very friendly and attentive. Would have given five stars but removed a star due to breakfast being continental instead of a cooked breakfast in line with government guidelines, but were aware of this prior to stay and room cost is reduced to reflect this and not a major issue. Definitely stay here again if in the area and recommend to anyone if looking for somewhere quiet to stay if in the vicinity with excellent food if required
