A little gem! Very friendly traditional pub. Lovely home cooked food and catered for my daughter who is coeliac with no fuss. Gluten free bread, lasagne and chips.
A very lovely, warm and cozy pub. Quaint and traditional decor with log fires. Served by friendly staff, including the chef who came out to check on our thoughts of the food. The food is gorgeous - we had the pork chop special, lamb tagine, steak, gammon & egg, cheeseburger and ham, egg & chips between us. All was cooked to perfection and served beautifully with good portion sizes. Delicious desserts too. We are holidaying in the area but we would love to come back sometime in the future if we are nearby.
Lovely quaint pub warm and friendly with a real fire... Freshly cooked home made food 10/10 we would love to call back in on our journey back home....highly recommend!
Brilliant local. 2 small rooms. Nice beer.
An interesting pub to visit, it's old, 19th century, small, quaint and has plenty of character. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. A reasonable choice of ale's and ciders are available including food. The food was tasty but I had a smaller portion dish given me which though tasty wasn't enough. Well worth a visit overall.
