We first discovered The Wynnstay in 2022 when we had such a lovely time sitting outside for a meal. We met so many friendly people. Today we went back and had a wonderful Sunday Roast and once again the staff and local people were so lovely. Such a warm feeling there helped by roaring log burners. We would have loved to have been staying the night so we could have had couple drinks and then just gone up to bed. Lovely decor with old beam etc. Would recommend to anyone. A lovely village pub, great layout, With 2 fires 🔥, good food, Very friendly & welcoming. At Llansilin.
The landlady was brilliant, along with all her staff. Nothing was any problem for anyone. Everybody had time to stop and a chat, they all made us so welcome. We ended up stopping a second night after the welcome we had. 💖 We will be back, not sure when. 💕
An amazing place!! Not only super dog friendly all the staff have great customer service too. We arrived before they even started to serve meals we told the staff we can always come back in a little bit they told us take a seat and order whatever we wanted and they would make it for us ! All the staff went above and beyond for us and our reactive puppy, couldn't have been looked after any better. Kept being asked if they could do anything for us but not over doing it. We all felt cared for and welcomed, will recommend to everyone and return !!
Lunch with family. Fabulous place never been here before. Menu maybe small, but the standard & quality are exceptional. The sirloin steak was really good, cooked to how you like served with homemade chips salad, coleslaw, grilled tomatoes & peppercorn sauce. The gammon was fantastic came with chips also pineapple 2 fried eggs, mushrooms, coleslaw & salad. Our host John had a jacket potato with cheese & bacon, also it had salad & coleslaw & few crisps on the side. Staff are great, checked we had everything we needed. Desserts: cheesecake with cream or ice cream, waffles with biscoff with cream or ice cream apple crumble with custard or ice cream. The whole place is really clean and inviting. We will be back.

Very pleasant village pub in the lower Tanat Valley. Well maintained and very comfortable lounge and separate pool room and bar. The bar has a large screen tv for sports fans.

The inn was established in 1740 and was so named after the village green it was built on. Once the geographical centre of the village it ended up isolated as the houses were built further up the road leaving the inn half a mile away from the centre!
