The Windmill Hotel in Alford is an 18th century, grade 2 listed building. It is a family run traditional pub, hotel and restaurant. We serve exceptional Indian cuisine, assorted ales, wines and spirits, and have 9 en-suite rooms, including a Bridal Suite.
The Windmill is a small Hotel, Restaurant and Public House situated in the middle of the historic market town of Alford, in rural Lincolnshire. The building dates back to before the 18th century and is grade 2 listed. It is full of history and character.
The hotel has 8 en-suite rooms to let out, and we do our best to accommodate all our guest’s needs and wishes.
We are also pet friendly and can accommodate them in most rooms. All we ask is that you ensure they are not carrying any unwanted pests.
Our private car park, situated at the back of the hotel, is both safe and secure.
We also have a thriving Indian restaurant, called Nayeema’s, which can accommodate up to 34 people at a time. Bookings are welcome.

I didn't stay overnight, but it is a lovely pub/ hotel that serves lovely food. Will definitely be going back. ❤️
Another buisness stop On arrival to hotel please be aware there is a huge carpark to the rear of the hotel which is easily accessible I did get greeted by two lovely ladies of a very friendly disposition and had a bit of a laugh with them There was a bar area for drink etc and lots of shops around the market square I got offered the best room in the house overlooking the entire square which was beautiful very spacious The room had a bath which was a lovely bonus and great tv The bed was extremely comfy The only thing I have to mention was that the room was extremely cold although the lady did mention there was a problem with the central heating I got really very cold in the night. The coffee facilities were there although basic but nice and clean Hotel could do with a makeover as carpets paintwork etc getting worn but nothing major The hotel did say they didnt do breakfast which I was surprised at so I had to go elsewhere to eat. To summarise Very friendly staff Ample parking Beautiful location with lots of amenities Lovely room Just need to put on a breakfast and hotel could do with a small makeover

we stayed at the windmill Hotel 🏨 on the 7th & 8th of July 2023. Debbie was very welcoming as we had spoke previously on the telephone, Our room was brand new and decorated outstanding 👏, The room it's self was clean & tidy and we could not fault it ,The staff in the bar were very polite and welcoming Luke was very funny and quite a nice gentleman the drinks were moderately priced, The food in the restaurant was outstanding and moderately priced all so we had a lovely weekend at the Windmill Hotel in Alford. Everyone was very friendly in the village of Alford, which made our stay even better. Thanks for all your help and all your hospitality, we will be back, and we will recommend you to others for an outstanding weekend in Alford ,
We enjoyed our stay. Lovely friendly staff, great room and a perfect location. It was a bonus to have private parking and able to take our dog too! plus the food was fab!! Would highly recommend.

Our Restaurant is open to everyone, whether you are a guest in the hotel or not. It is the ideal place to visit for a choice of freshly prepared meals from our various menus.
The dining area seats up to 34 people and is tastefully decorated and well equipped. It also provides a great atmosphere for you to enjoy your meal.
We also serve Takeaway Meals. Delivery is FREE up to a 4 mile radius, above that there is a small charge. Alternatively you can collect if you so wish.
All of our meals are cooked fresh to order and we cater for everyone, including children. We also offer a wide and varied choice. Why not call in and ask to view our menus.
