About us

The White Swan is a historic yet modern pub located on Worsley Road, South Swinton. The pub is steeped in heritage, standing on the same site for 200 years and bought by Joseph Holt in 1868. The bright and welcoming outdoor area at the entrance continues inside where you’ll find plenty of modern touches combined with original oak panelling and stained glass.

At the bar there’s a good choice of ales, lagers and ciders including craft beers from Bootleg Brewery. If you’re feeling a bit peckish, you can grab a family-baked Carrs pasty kept warm at the bar – delicious.

With Sky Sports and BT Sports, The White Swan is a great place to watch all the Premier League, Champions League and other sporting action throughout the week. There’s a beer garden towards the back with seating and a TV so you won’t miss any of the action.

The function room is available to book out for upcoming events.

A great pub. One of the friendliest pubs in Swinton. Lindsey is a wonderful land lady and goes out of her way to ensure everyone is happy and has a good time. Lots of events going on games nights, karaoke, dancing. I always look forward to a night in there.
