Use to visit this Pub lots years ago popped in recently and what a wonderful surprise different people but the same atmosphere I remember good beer smiling socialable customer's banter humour wit just about everything that makes a British pub such a wonderful institution super
Follow Mr & Mrs R on TikTok. Smashing traditional, semi rural pub. Real ale straight from the barrel and lovely cellar chilled ciders fresh from the cellar. Plenty of room inside the pub and a big real sun trap garden out the back. Food is plenty full, well prepared and presented. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good ale and food at a affordable price. Fount of pub parking or there is big car park on the opposite side of the road.
Brilliant friendly pub that we have been going to for years Sally and Tim are great hosts Sally's food is legendary Bex and Emma are hilarious Totally recommended 👌
I don't know how we have not been in this pub before, we have driven past it many times, Perhaps because it is quite unassuming on the outside, on a well used road. However, the pub is full of charm with a car park opposite. Staff were friendly and food wholesome. I had salt and pepper squid followed by a steak and ale casserole. 😋 Will definitely be back.
Always a friendly welcome (but then I have known the landlord for too many years too remember!) Great fresh cooked food, well kept real ale & nice wines! Plus as you can see it's a dog friendly pub!👍😁
