I'm a house DJ and I know how to read a room well from my experience in bars, restaurants, and clubs.
I usually start my sets with some groovy disco house edits that people will know the words too, or depending on the venue, some chilled out deep house.. eventually working my way into big feel good tracks and later in the night testing the water with how heavy I can take it.
I'm approachable, and love to connect with the audience so I always have a little boogie with the customers if they're up for it haha.
