The Victoria Park offers a relaxing and casual space, with a good selection of wines, spirits and beers. Our split level beer garden boasts fantastic view over the surrounding area and is the perfect place to eat and drink with friends.
In 1888, the council spent £29,334 buying land, owned by naturalist Sir John Henry Greville Smyth (whose collection formed the basis for the Bristol Museum), and landscaping it into Victoria Park. That’s nearly £4m in today’s money!
Nestled in the heart of Bedminster, a short distance from our namesake which opened to the public in 1891, we welcome everyone – whether you’re popping in for a pint or tucking in to our delicious Sunday roast.

Lovely park with plenty of room for everyone. Just watch out for the occasional bellend with an out of control dog, but the majority of owners are responsible. Kids play ground, toilets(bit scabby), and somewhere to get a coffee or tea at the top. Soon, to have a skateboard park as well. I wouldn't get through here on a night time it's a park in a major city, so not a great idea...scummers on the prowl
A very large dog friendly outdoor green space. Parking can be a little challenging though, lots of little narrow side roads.
Nice and peaceful…Dogs favourite, this park have a children’s site where they can enjoy also . Squirrels 🐿️ you can like a friend.
Ok first things first it's MASSIVE and due to the council parks department the grass is kept low and looks lovely. Lots of places to take your kids and run, okay football, fly a kite, have a picnic, BBQ, whatever you want ... You can play basketball, football in the areas at the bottom right or keep fit in the gym section....
Great park to take a stroll in as has lots of paths. Good for wildlife as plenty of trees & shrubs. Squirrels everywhere lots of Blackheaded gulls pecking the grass for food, lots of birds. And some great play areas for children.
