Pleasant, friendly 2-bar village pub, modernised but still retaining a good atmosphere. On the left, the bar has a pool table, dartboard and games machines. To the right is a quiet comfortable bar with a step up into an area housing children's games. Food is served 1800-2100 daily, plus Sunday lunch is offered 1200-1430. Families and dogs are very welcome (the pub was nominated for the Winalot dog-friendly pub guide!). The guest beer is not always available, and may be St Austell Tribute when it does appear. Two en-suite rooms are available.
Great service. Was given a table at the end of the service so was lucky to be fitted in. Lovely pub, friendly staff. Fodd was delicious.
Absolutely 💯. Sunday lunch today was roast lamb and 9 beautifully cooked vegetables, meat was tender, potatoes were fluffy and light, Yorkshire pudding to die for. Can't wait to sample homemade pudding at home as too full. Well worth a visit to thus quaint superb pub. 10 out of 10. Excellent.
Recently holidayed in Goldsithney and visited the pub a few times. Cosy proper pub, friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend the place.
Friendly bar service, nice selection of beers including a hazy ipa on tap. I couldn't order food as there was 50th party that was booked.
The best Sunday lunch I have ever had. Our second day in Cornwall and we booked lunch here. It was so good my husband booked again this Sunday August 2023. You won't be dissapointed friendly staff are lovely to. Meat delicious veg cooked perfectly. Gravy just wow
