About us

We are set in the heart of the quiet, coastal village of Perranuthnoe only 1½ miles east of Marazion, home to St. Michael’s Mount and only a minute from the South West Coast path. We are ideally situated to explore West Cornwall being only 10 miles from the Minack Theatre, St. Ives and Cornwall’s rugged North coast.

As well as award-wining food, fine wines, good local ales, ciders and a Cornish lager, we have two en-suite rooms available for bed and breakfast if you don’t fancy the drive home.

Our daily menu utilises the excellent wealth of local produce available each season within close proximity to the inn. We are very child-friendly and offer a good, healthy children’s menu as well as smaller portions of some of our main menu dishes.

Dogs are also welcome in the bar and garden and even though we don’t offer a full menu for the dogs, we do have biscuits for them behind the bar providing our spaniel Monty hasn’t already had them.

With a roaring fire in the winter and a south facing, enclosed terraced garden for the warmer months, the inn really is for all seasons.

We hope to meet you soon.

Nice traditional pub with cold beer and good food. Nice location and friendly staff. Dogs are welcome... though cats aren't due to the number of dogs in the pub.

Lovely traditional pub, great location. Lovely staff. Food is delicious, quite expensive for what you get. Over priced we thought for what we had. Great for a special occasion!!

Stayed here for a 3 night visit to Cornwall, was not disappointed at all. The initial check in was simple and a very warm welcome. The room was absolutely stunning, it's a very traditional inn but they have really gone above and beyond to make it as modern and comfortable as they can. Always a worry staying in an inn as usually by roads, but the area is so small and out the way that there was zero disturbances to sleep. The breakfast each day was amazing and set us up with plenty of energy, was clearly local and high quality produce used. Had dinner one evening too and was again absolutely amazing from the quality to the presentation. Whether it's somewhere to stay or a lovely lunch/dinner I really can't recommend this place highly enough. Definitely somewhere I'd stay again if visiting the area.

Lovely discovery at the end of a wonderful coastal walk. Village pub with rooms, a great menu, art gallery and friendly service. Loads of history, good beer. What's not to love

Came here for Sunday roast as been here few times over years & use to be very good. Very disappointing tiny bit of pork 1 mouthful & it was gone no crackling compared with people on table next to us who had beef & got 2 big slices. 1 Carrot 1 Parsnip potatoes tasted like they had been under heat lamp for hours. Cauliflower cheese was hard and not at all cheesy for £21 it’s very disappointing. I’ve had better roasts at a fraction of the cost. If you pay top prices you expect quality & this was far from it
