My first time at Toby Carvery Goldington! Was impressed by the service and Esther was super helpful, she recommended the tastiest cocktail I’ve had all year 🙂 thank you Esther. The food was worth every penny. Tender and succulent. I enjoyed the variety of vegetable accompaniments too. Will be coming back really soon!
We had the worst breakfast this morning. When we arrived there was no bacon and no eggs. We waited till fresh came out everything else was dry and warm. No tea bags, milk or ketchup. Was all topped up eventually. Then to my surprise the breakfast was all brought out freshly cooked for staff. Bless him chef said he only likes pancakes at weekend so made fresh and lots syrup. Shame paying customers don't get same service. But then waitress had bad back so was struggling she is normally so happy and friendly. Not sure what's happened but gone down hill. Worst of all!! Saturday morning and no filter coffee to be seen!!!
Had a lovely meal and our server Jacob so very polite.The food was delicious and all the staff members were friendly and positive.
I wanted to treat my girls (9 and 6 years old) to a Toby Carvery after they watched a You Tube video of Americans trying it and rather liked the idea 💡😎 I hadn't had one for years! The restaurant was lovely. Felt really comfortable and cosy and was very clean. We really enjoyed our food and had fun trying the offerings to be had in whatever combination we wanted! 9 year old assured me mash potatoes and Mac cheese together is delicious! I enjoyed the variety and it was fantastic value. For a buffet style restaurant it's brilliant and how could anyone begrudge the sheer choice and quantity of food. Our waitress Sam was amazing and made our experience feel special. I personally haven't experienced customer service like she showed us in years in this country. She is exceptional at her job. She was so friendly and attentive and wonderful with the kids. We can't wait to come back. Thank you so much 🙏Highly recommend
Mega long queue for the carvery but was worth the wait. Good food, value for money. Staff were very polite and accommodating. The restaurant was clean. Don't let the queue put you off.
