We were served by Martessa, she was very helpful and made sure we were happy with everything. As soon as we walked in she seated us on a bench seat which made it more comfortable for me as I currently have a broken leg and was able to elevate it and store my crutches within reach. She gave us a few minutes before taking our drinks order which then appeared promptly she then took our food order and tempted me with sides and upgrades (I’m very weak as I had them all !!) Food was lovely, hot and freshly cooked like it should be, we left full of food and happy, currently fighting off a food coma sitting at home!!
Lovely evening out for our "works do". Martessa was great. Very pleasant, helped us down load app to get 40% off bill. Catered well for Gluten free guest too. Meals were all great too.
Very impressed by a new member of staff called David. He went above and beyond. He brought the heavy tray out for us even though he was obviously very busy and he didn't just give us two glasses of tap water, he prepared a lovely jug with mixed fruit. I have never been given this anywhere! Usually just lemon, not 3 fruits ! We love the free salad which is a big reason why we choose to come here. Lovely to have outside seating for main meals, esp the grass area (real grass!).
Popped in on Bank holiday Monday. We ordered a Dirty Burger and Chicken combo, both meals were piping hot when they arrived at the table and tasted delicious. The only downside to the chicken combo meal was the corn on the cob which was very watery and soft. Finished off with a sweet treat - Caramel Sundae. The service from Martessa was fantastic, warm friendly smile and very attentive!
Good service, despite the staff obviously being very busy. Great food, the pork belly was tender and delicious. We like having those mini puds available, could never manage a full size one
