Located in the middle of the Jennyfield housing estate it looks to serve its local community well
It has a traditional public and lounge bar layout served from a central servery. The front of the building has four odd turret affairs, under the two over the public bar are a pool table and a table football machine, the ones over the lounge have pleasant sitting areas beneath them. Traditional buttoned leather upholstered benches with tables and chairs in the public while the lounge is furnished with armchairs around tables.

Very nice pub with lovely beer garden and welcoming atmosphere. Pool table and darts board which are both maintained and usable. Clean toilets and a beautiful very well behaved pub dog

Locals pub with a good few regulars. Usually a relaxed atmosphere, certainly after 9-9:30 (on an evening during the week and on a Sunday) when the crowd gets a bit older. John Smith's was £2.70 a pint when i was in 2 weeks ago. Pub is tidy and always well kept. Staff are friendly. I think the pub is open til midnight Monday to Saturday - not sure about Sunday. Last time i was in they were changing their Sunday hours. There's a juke box, pool table and live sports. Only downside - I've been in a few times on an early evening and the pub has felt a bit uncomfortable - during the week and on Saturday. Usually, there are some 'grafters' in and, occasionally, the language (and atmosphere) can resemble a job site after they've had a few beers. I've seen someone threatened (wasn't clear if it was a joke, or serious) and someone have there girlfriend simulating a sex act. What was really weird is that the guy was looking at me and my Father in Law while he was 'getting serviced'.
Lovely place for a good drink, family and dog friendly, and there is also a couple of resident cats by the name of fluffy bum and twiggy who are really nice, buffet and meat raffle every Sunday, free pool on Wednesday's, friendly staff and good local to go to in Jennyfields 😀
