Large, 1960s pub on Harrogate's northern outskirts
A single room is broken up into several drinking areas including space for three pool tables. In addition there are a number of fruit and games machines, and a big screen TV showing sports. Decorated in a mix of light greys and beiges with some mosaic walls. Pretty much an estate pub but fun in its way and it does get busy. There is free WiFi.
Friendly staff, friendly atmosphere. Cheap drinks and good prices overall
Spent 45mins watching football on one of the many screens there. The Guinness was Guinness and the plain salted crisps were plain salted crisps.
We stayed there as part of work and we couldn't complain to he honest The food at the evening was very nice. The beer is a bit pricey, but it is a hotel, so you'd expect that. I had to swap a room as it was very dated and very confined. but all in all it's an old building so its must be hard to upkeep and it's very nice and welcoming and the food is good.
Lovely local pub. We had a great couple of hours here watching the match. Locals very friendly and chatty. Hopefully we visit Harrogate again and we will definitely return to this pub. Great prices , great service couldn’t ask for anything more.
Good pint of stella, tasty pipers crisps. Polite chatty service average prices which you'd expect to pay in todays market
