Having eaten here a couple of times and now hosted an event, I would highly recommend the venue and adjoining building next door to anyone. Not only is the service outstanding but the help and communication in the build up is fast and reassuring. James and his team run a beautiful pub where the food is varied, delicious and served with a smile, the choice of drinks plentiful and the atmosphere welcoming. Thank you all for making our night amazing! Can’t wait to find an excuse to come back soon xxxx
Lovely surroundings. Service was slow and food average but clearly home cooked which was nice. Really impressed with range of vegan options.
We popped up to a snowy Keele to visit our son who is at Uni there. We called ahead, and 10 minutes later were sat at a table in this warm and cosy pub. Staff were great and we ordered a sharing platter for starter and Sunday roasts for all. The food was excellent and just what was needed on a cold and miserable day. We will definitely visit again.
Delicious food in a cosy village pub with friendly staff. I had the gammon steak and it was excellent! Followed by the Chocolate Fudge Sundae! Back on the diet tomorrow! And even better... a pint was £2.99! When I'm staying at the Courtyard Marriot again I'll be sure to stop in for dinner!
Talk about breaking the mould! The new management have changed the Sneyd Arms standard and raised the bar. What used to be a consistent pub experience has changed to a bar and restaurant. The front of house bar is the same, and they've changed the back into a restaurant area. Despite a wait for our mains, the food is absolutely amazing, from the flavour of the fries and salad garnish to the main itself, and the quality of the ingredients, the new Sneyd Arms is making a bold statement in carving its mark. I had to order dessert to see if the puddings were as good as the mains, and I was not disappointed. My wife chuckled as I scooped the last of the chocolate fudge sundae, saying "get in my belly!" Overall, very pleased with the new menu. Looking forward to coming back.

Situated in this former mining village, The Bush has three rooms and a large, enclosed garden with a children's play area. Entertainment is staged on Friday night, and the pub has it's own darts, dominoes, pool and football teams.
