Enjoyed a meal here with family new years day. There was a problem with one of the meals. Which was dealt with brilliantly. It's when things go wrong restaurants show their real worth. And this place shone. Well done and thank you. Would recommend this place highly .
Popped in here on a jolly boys outing. Nice place, food served which looked very nice. Staff were friendly. Three separate small rooms, nice and cosy. Three tuns beer served which was very nice. Enjoyed my visit.
A lovely historic hotel looking out over the town of Bishops Castle and the Shropshire hills. Family-run, welcoming and dog-friendly, the Castle Hotel has great food and drink with excellent service. Having used the bar and restaurant many times over the years this is the first time that we stayed and we weren't disappointed!
Stayed for a night with three friends while walking Wild Edric's Way. Brilliant hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. The rooms were very comfortable. Dinner was superb and there was a great choice of breakfast options. We enjoyed the locally brewed beer in the bar. Fantastic beer garden with lovely views of the Shropshire Hills. Highly recommended and will be back
Exceptional hotel. A group of 10 of us stayed for the weekend for a hill running break and I cannot fault this hotel at all. Staff were fantastic, extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were all comfortable and of a high standard. Food offering was great. We had 2 x breakfasts, 1 X lunch and 1 X dinner and everybody was really pleased with the food and choicesn offered. They were really accommodating to our request to have an earlier breakfast on day 2. What set the hotel apart though is the outside area, the gardens, patios were just brilliant. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much.

Know locally as The Vaults, with its sawdust and bare boards flooring, this is unashamedly a no frills pub.
