The Sunday roast is a must! Portion sizes are huge but definitely worth the money spent. All of the staff are lovely and the venue itself is so quaint. 👌
Hate to review this pub as I don't want it to be spoiled. But it's absolutely one of may fave pubs in central London. Esp around Christmas time. It's a beautiful pub and the staff are always a dream and really helpful esp if you want a taster of the different ales. Beer is amazing esp if you are a real ale drinker. That's a rare find in London too! Good real ale! Always meet interesting people here too! Hear the food is great but never tried it. Simply put - this is a real gem and beautiful British pub that are sadly disappearing from the UK at an alarming rate (or are being butchered by modernising them - like the Tom Cribb). Massive thanks to the bar staff that are always (and I mean always) superb and friendly.
Fantastic food and pleasant service! Definitely recommend to book a table for the upper floor and get the traditional British dishes: fish & chips, steak pie and the beef Wellington. The sticky toffee pudding is great.
Lovely atmosphere, Saturday afternoon. Food looks great but we were drinking only - good selection. 3 drinks just under 20 quid, typical.
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday beef roast. Food was incredible and big portions. It is a more expensive meal but worth it. Located in an alley off the Main Street which gave it a more authentic atmosphere. Inside was cozy and traditionally decorated.
