What a great place! Had many wonderful evenings in The Sea Lounge. The food is delicious and the team are just so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend anyone living or visiting in Broadstairs to go and try out their menu and great bar! We have parties here too and the hosts have always gone above and beyond to deliver a great night!
Absolutely brilliant night, great starters and mains! Staff brilliant as was the entertainment (Freddie Mercury tribute) We will definitely be watching for upcoming events and going along again!
Terrible experience from start to finish. Booked a Christmas get together here on Saturday evening. Arrived to find the venue almost empty, staff having drinks and failed to greet us. The whole venue was freezing cold, the party, all 8 of us sat at our table wearing coats and scarves. Background music overpowered any conversation and the “dining area” in the middle of essentially a night club. The menu presented to us stated “Sunday carvery” but it was not a carving. No pork belly and we were advised that the chicken supreme was in fact chicken. Starters ordered… what a let down, barely warm and certainly not as advertised. No pomegranate inside to accompany the hullumi fries just some badly chopped iceberg lettuce… fitting really as the wile party are still sat with coats on! Music is now pumping and no one can be heard. Neon purple lights make this venue seedy. Main meals ALL cold, plates too. Undercooked vegetables and over cooked potatoes. Veggie meals arrives with bacon lardons in the sprouts and accompanied by meat gravy. Undercooked salmon, raw cold cauliflower cheese!! Cheap nasty wine served in even cheaper wine glasses! We left a few moments later with no apology from the bar owner…. Who had a few wines whilst her incompetent staff scratch around for things to do! What a dump!! Will not return. Truly spoilt a works Christmas party!
Had a fantastic stay here recently. The garden room was lovely. Renovation work was going on in the bar and dining area but totally didn't interfere with our stay. Hosts were excellent, could do with a drinks fridge for keeping milk, bottled water, and maybe some cold drinks. Signal for 02 was nil unless in garden area, and came and went for ee. Looking forward to going back soon. Literally across the road and through a small seating area to the beach.
We had an amazing stay at this hotel in one of there new garden rooms. Very spacious, luxurious and a fantastic outside area. You are staying next to the outside bar area but you are not disturbed by the late night partying and drinking, the rooms are sound proof!!! The evening entertainment is great and we’ll worth considering. Location is prime with just a 3 min walk to got into the beach and if you can get a seat at the front of the bar a sea view too. Very close to all the fantastic restaurants in Broadstairs. You can ask for much more!
