The Rutland is situated on the bank of the River Thames near Hammersmith Bridge. We're one of the main viewing points of the Oxford Cambridge boat race.
In World War II the pub suffered bomb damage, but today you'll find a gorgeous quintessentially London pub. We’re proud to say our menu is packed with Great British pub food classics, including iconic dishes like our hand-battered fish and chips, pie and mash and succulent burgers. Our drinks include a great range of real ales and an extensive wine list.
Our drinks include a great range of real ales and an extensive wine list. Our cask ales range has some of the best in British beers, including the new 1730, our very own special pale ale. The team at the Rutland look forward to welcoming you soon.
It is THE Italian place to enjoy excellent cuisine - luckily far from luxurious restaurants, with a typical family owned atmosphere, full of local people(!) and serving excellent food! We pin 📌 it on our map of fantastic Italian restaurants and looking for an opportunity to return!
We were looking for Sunday roast somewhere near the river and somewhat randomly booked the Rutland Arms. Turns out it was an excellent choice. Firstly this is a proper pub - that’s a very good thing in my world. Secondly the food was really very very food and thirdly the two guys running the floor were both perfect hosts. Afterwards a little walk along the river makes for a perfect Sunday. And the peach Melba tarte tatin was perfect ….. we will return and they said we’d get the VIP treatment next time. Based on this time I can’t wait
Great food, ordered steak and ale pie with chips. Also got a pint of German beer, Keller bier. Fantastic beer, cloudy and very tasty. Well served. Staff was helpful, just could smile a bit more. Busy place by the river, lovely scenery.
We enjoyed our stay here. The fish and chips were really good and the atmosphere is awesome. Perfect for a relaxed night out.
Charming riverside Pub with history and style. The friendly service offers an enjoyable time, the beer is, indeed, cold, the food is mouth-watering. Chips were crispy, the inside was tender, the Vintage Cheddar & Bacon Burger was packed with flavour. IPA BBQ relish on top was a delight.
