Nice place. rooms are a bit dates and overpriced. The food and service were great and cetral located in the town which is great
I stayed here with a golfing group. The service was excellent which included posting a charger I left at the hotel to my home. Much appreciated!
Place looks like it hasn't been tend to for years. Rooms are disgusting and everything looks like it is falling apart. Had to wander around the place to find someone to check me in as no one was to be found. Same for breakfast, we just helped ourselfs until someone finally showed up.
Stayed at the Royal hotel for 2 weeks now, really enjoyed my stay , rooms cleaned every day , staff really helpful, food was great! As I was working away I had to leave in the early hours to go home, the staff made me a packed lunch to go home with! Would highly recommend and will be visiting again for sure 👌
Great welcome in this family run hotel. They couldn’t have done any more to accommodate our group of 16 guys on a sporting trip. Going as far as to lay on a special meal for our last night. Excellent whisky selection. Rooms were clean and serviced every day. If you want 5 star fixtures with no atmosphere, go pay 4x the price elsewhere.
