Loved visiting this friendly pub. Staff all made us feel welcome, the food was amazing and feal homemade type pub grub! Good prices and choice. Be aware the majority of them speak Welsh, but will easily speak in English for you. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. Will definitely return if in the area again. Thank you for feeding us for nearly q0 days!! Oh and allowing our 2 dogs in too.
We were recommended to visit the pub by the owner of the cottage we are staying at! All I can say is the staff are welcoming and helpful. Our dogs were welcome and a table set for us. We ordered Welsh Beef Pie and Beef, Mushroom and Ale pies. Simply WOW! Deep filled and very tasty. Chips were perfectly cooked and lovely veg. Will definitely be back again whilst in the area. A lovely old pub, full of character and history. We stopped by for a Sunday lunch which was perfect. Cheerful attentive staff in a relaxed atmosphere. We were lucky as it was quite busy, but got a table by the bar. They still have a pool table in another room 👍👍 We shall return again 🍽️🍺☕
Fantastic pub, owner was extremely helpful with where to visit and what to see. The home cooked meals are just wow, they are well sized portions, very well priced and wonderful staff. The pub has a lovely beer garden and the views are super! Inside pub oldy worldly and just what you want when in Wales! Thank you so much. Everett family from HULL
I stayed in the town nearby and was recommended this pub by a local. Well am I glad we took them up in the recommendation as this is one of the best pubs ever! The views in the beer garden are phenomenal and the staff are all really friendly and welcoming to all. The food is incredible and you can tell it's all freshly prepared and homemade. My compliments to the chef for the homemade Welsh beef pie! Best pie I've ever had and full of flavour. Also dog friendly which is a big plus for me. Dogs are not allowed in all areas but there is plenty of space they are allowed in. If I am in the area again I will certainly be returning here, can't recommend this lovely place enough!
