Hosted a family reunion for 17 people here recently. Food was superb- best roast I’ve had in years and all came out on time. Good service and friendly staff. Would recommend!
Had lunch here with a group of friends. We were fortunate to have been allocated the big round table in the corner which was great for chatting. Several had the pie of the day and other 2 had fish and chips. Everyone was very pleased with the food and attentive service. The pub had sold out of alcohol free drinks, explained by a large group the previous evening.
We had an evening meal here. It's a nice place to go, while the party I was with enjoyed their meal, I felt it lacked taste, it wasn't horrible but could have had a better taste..
Went for a roast with some friends - the staff were very accommodating and helpful, but the food was not worth the price unfortunately. The beef was tough and overcooked, but the spuds were tasty! Had the staff not been as nice as they were, this would have been a 3 star review. I'd recommend going for a drink instead.
Stopped for a quick drink while walking the Thames Path, but ended up stopping for food too. Sat outside, loads of space, some tables covered too. Menu choices were great, but no roast, although was bank holiday Monday. Food came quickly and was freshly made with large tasty portions. Price was reasonable. Definitely recommend.
