The Crown is a quintessential Cotswold British pub, set in the idyllic village of Cerney Wick just a stones throw from the Cotswold Water Park. With beautiful large gardens tucked in between the village and the canal this pub has always been a jewel in the Village crown.
So if you're popping in for Light Bites off the Bar Menu, a Three Course Meal from an extensive A La Carte Menu or simply a drink with a snack, the new Anglo-Indian Fusion style of cuisine from Asha Indian Kitchen has something for everyone.
The famous Sunday Roast still remains available every Sunday from midday until sold out - but now with the new option of special fusion style starters.
Whether you're a local, or from afar, you will feel at home within the walls of The Crown, Cerney Wick.

A really good curry here. Made with fresh ingredients and none of that horrible pink colouring. We were a group of 20 and the staff managed that we'll. Will definitely go again.
Absolutely cannot fault this lovely village pub that serves the most DELICIOUS Indian food. Hubby & I stumbled across the place while staying at The De Vere Cotswold Water Park hotel when we went for a walk around the lake local to our room. We were made to feel welcome from the get go & after a few afternoon beverages with some locals we returned in the evening for the best curry we've ever had. We will definitely be returning in the fairer weather to enjoy a less muddy walk & another tasty meal. Thank you so much to the owner & all his friendly staff for the brilliant hospitality. See you in spring/summer 2024!
We booked a table for 7 people for Sunday 3rd September. The food, service and setting was just fabulous. We had walked 90 minutes from The Lower Mill Estate and we weren’t disappointed! Luckily for us we only live 20 minutes away and have already booked to return! Give it a whirl, you won’t be disappointed 😊
Found the pub at the end of a long walk and was surprised to find it was also an Indian restaurant. The food however is more varied than just a "curry house". We were all pleasantly surprised by some of the nicest food we have had in the Cotswolds. Nice drinks and very friendly and efficient staff. Just great.
Revisited since it has just re opened again.. Still a lovely pub, cider is now Stowford press which is fine. Popped into The Crown whilst out for a walk around the area. It is a pub with a great atmosphere and character. The cider was Orchard Cider and was refreshing. The fire was going and all the staff were friendly. Haven't eaten here yet, but when I do I'll update my review accordingly. As a country pub and a stop off on a walk, it is perfect.
