Great place and atmosphere. Food and service was amazing, haven't been here since there was new owners. But they were lovely and welcoming, will definitely be returning here without a doubt!
Service was first class, all staff couldn't do enough for us starting with the bar service of Butty bach beer and Morretti lager, gin and tonic and lime and soda. We ordered, with the help of the maitre de, Broccoli and Stilton soup, beef wellington and steak pie. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Most definitely the best pub in the area. The food is exceptional, the service is top notch & the restaurant is set out perfectly, with a perfect distance between other diners. We eat here regularly & never had a bad meal.
Stunning Sunday dinner here. Brilliant service and the flavours were amazing. Even managed to squeeze in 3 courses (demolished my Belly Pork main before taking a photo)
Stopped for food during a long drive. Excellent food and great service. Would highly recommend. (took a forkfull of mash before taking the photo)
