Much renovated, friendly pub, over 250 years old, situated in the highest village in England. The New Inn Flash is the highest 'village' pub in England a full 1518 feet above sea level, built from local millstone grit.
Modern-looking inside, but managing to retain a traditional; small smoking patio to the rear, with superb views over the surrounding countryside. The two guest beers will often come from Storm Brewery of Macclesfield.
Cracking walkers welcome pub. Great beer, roaring fire, cosy new refit. Perfect.
Great pub! Really nice inside, the landlady was very friendly and good to have a laugh with. Will definitely be back.
They lie!! They are not the highest village pub in Britain! That honour lies with a small pub Scotland!! They should probably change their sign as the debate has long been settled. Also they have unusual opening hours which deeply upsets me.
Lovely pub in a nice rural area just outside Buxton. Very clean , pleasant and friendly. Car park and seating at the back was a great sun spot to enjoy a cold Rattlers Pineapple Cider or 2. Well worth a visit if you want a quiet drink with only the sound of the birds disturbing you :)
Wonderful little village pub, it's the highest pub in Britain. Very friendly welcome. They don't do food here but do have a good selection of drinks. There's outside seating. They are muddy boots and dog friendly. Perfect for walkers, sightseers, and villagers.
