Caravans and Motor Homes are welcome at the Winking Man for overnight stopovers. We have electric hook up points available at very reasonable costs, so why not relax, and thoroughly enjoy our fantastic location and excellent hospitality.

WELL DONE TO 🌟👏THE WINKING MAN on still hosting your monthly rock night last night on the 26th January 2024 There is problems with power in the local area guessing because of recent winds They still had a band on well in bits cos the place kept going dark and it kinda made it fun when the power did go out and everyone fake moaned and cheered when the power came back on because we knew they were trying their best In the pub it’s self they still did meals even though some food in the freezers couldn’t be defrosted due to the electrical problems My hunters chicken was gorgeous and the other members of our party enjoyed their food But considering problems they did an awesome job WELL DONE from The camping Trio Myself Mrs Alison Jane Fitchett , Chris , Phil, Michelle, Kim , and Martyn Who all in all had an awesome night .

Cracking out the way old school roadhouse type bar in between Buxton and leek. 2 ales on when I went . One was a dizzy duck? From a Derbyshire brewery which was lovely. Ran by the same couple for years. Really good service behind the bar. Everyone was chatty and friendly. Has a function room which hosts various nights of entertainment including a regular rock night (last Friday of each month) and has a pool table and darts board. Lovely home cooked pub grub at reasonable prices. Hearty portions that does the job! Massive flat carpark for stop overs. Couple pitches have hook up and you can empty waste( cost depends on what you need) biker friendly. very highly recommended 🍻 🛻 🏍️ 🥘 🍻 🎱 🎯 🎤 🎶
Wow beautiful good old fashioned country pub . Set in tje most beautiful area. The staff were very friendly warm cozy atmosphere and tje food was FIRST CLASS very good produce and delicious. Well worth a visit
The food was overall 4 star, it was served to us on time, cooked to perfection and exactly as we ordered it. The portions where of a good size and well presented. As a side note: - The facilities where clean and fully stocked. - The staff where very busy tonight due to an event however they still had the time to be polite, helpful and it did not seem like the food and the waiting times suffered.
