OUR LITTLE CORNER OF SOHO HAS BEEN HOME T0 A PUB SINCE WAY BACK IN 1748. THE AREA CHANGED A LOT DURING THE YEARS IN BETWEEN, AND SO DID THE PUB – EVENTUALLY BECOMING THE NELLIE DEAN IN 1967.
SINCE THEN WE’VE FOCUSED ON DOING WHAT WE KNOW BEST; SERVING UP QUALITY DRINKS, AWARD WINNING PIEMINISTER PIES AND GOOD TIMES TO THE PEOPLE OF LONDON. A TRADITIONAL PUB WITH MODERN COMFORTS, YOU CAN ALWAYS GUARANTEE A WARM WELCOME WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOORS OF THE NELLIE DEAN.
A really lovely pub - very traditional in looks and appearance, complete with basement toilets! Good range of beers. The pies are excellent, but… they really shouldn’t be served on top of the mash - doesn’t do either of them any favours! Lovely friendly bar staff too.
Great pub, good selection of beers and well laid out bar. Friendly staff. Great location and atmosphere. Well recommended for a few beers. Watch the journey to the gents loo's the tunnel downs very low lol
I've always really enjoyed this little pub. It's had some changes and refurbs over the years but has retained character and a homely feel. Friendly staff, three cask ales on my last visit, and nice wines too. It's a fun place to go with friends, a partner, or just to chill out on your own with a book or newspaper.
Nice pub just off Oxford Street, in the Great of Soho. Music not too intrusive, and nice spot to watch the world go by for an hour or so.
Nice traditional pub tho security is suspicious of any person looking different! Other than that good busy atmosphere.
