The Navigation is on the main Stockport to Hyde road in the midst of the bustling and pleasant suburb of Woodley. The pub is very much a traditional local house with a rotating range of Robinsons cask ales and a warm welcome. Hidden from general view is a tidy and sheltered beer garden which is fully enclosed and situated at the rear, however, the pubs main feature is its first-class bowling green, which plays host to several national competitions, and a weekly local bowling club. Prepared to be bowled over by The Navigation.

Robinson’s are not to my liking in general yet this pub is still a marked improvement from the other pubs in the area

A perfectly acceptable pub. A bit dingy on the inside but there's a good, spacious beer garden and what more do you need, really? Pizza? They have that too.
Had a good night in here on Saturday. Met up with my brothers and wives. A nice friendly old style pub. Staff and customers were very welcoming. There's a beer garden and bowling green at the back. We will be going back again.

The Woodley Arms is a large friendly pub located in Woodley, next to the shopping precinct. We have regular karaoke on Wednesday & Saturday Nights & live acts every Friday night. Every Thursday we hold Rock n Roll Bingo, with prizes.
