Nice chocolate workshop, lady was nice to give the children a tour after our meal. Staff were friendly. Service was fairly fast. Male toilets had pee on the floor and no locks on the cubicles and one cubicle didn't have toilet roll. The mens toilet door was jammed open so the urinal was very visible from the corridor at the back entrance. Didn't know where to park, phoned to make sure and asked and found out there was a car park round the back. Quite a tight little car park but we managed OK. Struggled to know which door was the entrance from the car park (I think it was the black one that has two doors) Food tasted good however the plates were cold so the steaks weren't really hot enough by the time served at the table. One was very pink with blood juice even though was a medium done. The decor was nice, I do love a theme.
Amazing place, friendly staff, food was cooked to perfection, Indian nachos are a real suprise, the burgers are cooked perfectly and the chips are not soaked in oil which is a nice change to other places.
My go to place if ever I'm looking for a bite to eat in Ashington. Been visiting moo moo's for many years and never been disappointed. This time round I tried the Wayne Towers burger and wasn't dissapointed, the mixture of beef and chicken accompanied with spicy cheese was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning sometime in the near future. Thankyou 🙂
I have been to "Moo Moo's" for Sunday lunch again and was again extremely satisfied with the service from start to finish. The food is excellent and the portions are more than enough, the meat is tender and juicy and the vegetables are perfectly cooked. The decor is great too, to describe it I would say it's industrial meets country style, its a very warm and cosy place with a good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and helpful, always in good spirits and you can see the staff enjoy their jobs. I would highly recommend "Moo Moo's" and due to its popularity especially on a Sunday lunchtime I would recommend booking for larger groups of people.
Updated review on " Moo Moo Steakhouse" North seaton road Ashington. I have been again for a Sunday lunch and I am yet again impressed with the staff, the decor and the food is second to none, especially for the price! I noticed that this time we had a little wait however a que is a good sign and as I kept my place when my mother and father were seated within ten minutes we were all served by twenty minutes of entering the premises. The carvery consists of three meats which are turkey, pork and beef and along side that you get Yorkshire puddings and stuffing served by a very friendly member of staff who carves the meat in front of you and adds your Yorkshire puddings and stuffing and you are then given your plate to help yourself to the honey roast parsnip (delightful) and any other veg options you can have with a Sunday roast including gravy's and sauce's. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always welcome you with a smile and nothing is too much trouble for them. The decor is a stroke of old country meets industrial which is a great fit for the area and done with an eye for detail, which is in my opinion fantastically done. The price is £6.99 each and you are allowed to return for more, but you wouldn't need to after the portion size which is more than sufficient. I have felt comfortable to ask on the first occasion to be able to take some home and there after take a tub for what I have not been able to finish. I found this time a wee wait for a very satisfied full tummy. I would highly recommend this place for Sunday lunch and my family have also been on a week day and tried the steak and it was described as delicious. Highly busy but highly recommended any day of the week.
