Didnt stay but went there for Sunday Lunch and was not disappointed. Tender meat and perfectly presented veg. It was amazing. The Maltsers do not skimp on portions, and the location is very pretty. Overall if you are in the area and want a spot of lunch definitely drop in.

Outstanding food, fabulous riverside location, great staff. Absolutely love it here, have eaten many times and the food is always exceptional. Have now stayed over too and the rooms are cosy comfortable and great value.

V nice place, awesome brekkie, v helpful staff - especially the morning guy. Only slight downside was I only got half a fish for my fish n chips so me + the dog had to supplement the evening meal with a pack of crisps. But all round pretty good and there was a tonne of salmon at breakfast so that makes up for it.

For me personally, it was everything I needed. A lovely dog-friendly stay in a beautiful location. It can be a bit hairy to get to with some small country lanes. I'm used to these but others may find it a bit daunting. The pub/Hotel is located right by the river so you have small boats mooring up alongside. The staff were all really lovely and so welcoming. They were lovely to our dog as well. We had 2 rooms booked, one much smaller than the other. Ours was lacking in windows but that's just the layout of the building but my parents room was really nice with lots of space and a big bathroom too (theirs was an upgrade though so this wasn't unexpected). The food was very nice, highly recommended the cod and chips and the breakfast was great with lots of options to choose from and all freshly made. There's very little phone signal but there's free WiFi to help with this.

This place has always been a favourite until they changed the route in and out of the pub. Now they have changed it back it’s really good. Rather than walking out on to the road, you can go through the pub to the waterfront and car park. It’s much quieter than I remember from from years ago. Lovely views from the seating area. You can also sail up at high tide and moor along side.
