Great venue. I saw David Devant And His Spirit Wife play here last Christmas. Brilliant gig, but ruined very slightly by the annoying guy from Mega Strange World standing in front of me recording everything for his YouTube channel. Put your phone away you silly man and just enjoy the music!!!
We spent last night NYE here and were so pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the staff and helpful and quick service! Everyone went out of their way to assist with our needs and requests . A special mention to the staff member ( guy with a South African accent ?) Thank you so much and Happy New Year . We didn’t eat there but the smell of the food was delicious ! We also went to the 80’s party attached to the bar and it was great !
Love this little venue. So close to King's Cross so very easy to get to. We saw Bedlam who were brilliant. Lovely atmosphere in the both the bar area and music venue.
Live nightly music venue but also does decent morning breakfast. Lady behind bar was really a top find, so friendly, what a bonus 👍 The venue has some history too, Bob Dylan and oasis did early gigs here, also the Pogues and Katy Perry and others, worth a read up on historical ramblings and worth a visit too
Discovered this place by accident, and very pleased that I did! Attractive exterior and one room bar, with live music venue at the back. This place has a lot of music history and the atmosphere was really building early evening on a Saturday as musicians were arriving and setting up. The kitchen is open all day, with the menu including a full English breakfast and other traditional pub food. All staff were really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return.
