I was really impressed with this Wetherspoons. I came here on a Monday lunchtime. It was quiet enough for me to easily find a seat. I was served at the bar almost immediately. I went for the chicken wings and a cup of refillable coffee. I thought that this was great value at £8.66. It was nice and chilled inside the pub, there were a few groups of people. The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my wings and my coffee. I noticed that there were 6 real ales on at the bar, including two from local brewery Black Country Ales. I didn’t partake in this occasion but I would definitely like to come back for a pint at some point. The pub was accessible as it is located on the main Birmingham New Street Concourse. There is a screen showing train times so you don’t miss your train. All in all, I would definitely recommend a visit!
I'm rating this lower than I would have because of the food and the service. The Christmas dinner was awful seriously charging just under £14 for mash potatoes and a bit of meat no Yorkshire pudding spot the roast potatoes veg and there was lots of gravy but this wasn't a Christmas dinner . The pizza and cheesy chips were very nice. It was a very busy football night. The servers were a mix bag of nice and just outright rude.
First time in this wetherspoons. First thing that stands out is everything more expensive that other spoons. The service was beyond slow and the place was crawling with small fruit flies. Go to another wetherspoons in Birmingham they are far better and that's saying something
An excellent Spoons, Breakfast was top notch, laidback vibe with efficient service, and unlimited refills for hot drinks. This was my first visit and I will definitely return upon my next visit to Birmingham.
Pretty good for a spoons. Huge venue with a big bar. Good choice of beers, nice atmosphere and clean toilets. Impressive for a train station pub

In this city of botanical gardens there has long been friendly watering holes for the horticulturally minded. As tradition dictates, there's still one bar on temple street that encourages the pursuit of botanical concoctions.
