Well its coming up for nearly 2 years in the Little Acorn, and I will be honest its been a hard 2 years, with tears of joy and tears of sadness, The pub is going from strength to strength and we thank you for supporting us and value you custom.
We aim to get entertainment on every Saturday (see our FB page for details) The restaurant has been open a year and can’t thank “Our Sharon” enough for the fantastic meals she provides us all 3 times a week, (see our FB page for details) plus team food for our Doms Darts and Pool teams, and home made cobs 6 days a week. come and support your local, we have a family room, and function room available, free of charge for meeting, get-togethers, parties, and funerals, catering can be arranged if required.
Called in for a pint before Ilkeston v Basford Utd game, nice pint nice place
We popped here for a wake recently and it was an ok pub. They’ve got a function room, pool table and a small beer garden. Sadly they’ve got ale pumps, but they’re not used. They just serve a couple in bottle which is a downside. They’ve got several draught beers however.
Good place . Some games (8 ball pool , Darts etc)
Went to a wedding reception there last night, friendly staff good food and atmosphere Highly recommend
Always warm and welcoming, quick service and staff are always happy and chatty which makes it a very relaxing place to drink. Had my sons birthday party here and nothing was too much can’t fault them. Bingo on a Monday is quickly becoming my new favourite night of the week

Built in 1884 this is a traditional corner house pub A three roomed format with an entrance lobby. Bar and lounge on either side of the serving area and a separate snug.
