First visit to this lovely pub, and it lived up to its good reputation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an extensive and interesting menu, we were spoilt for choice .My husband ended up having the fish and chips, which he said were excellent. I had a most delicious gnocchi with spinach and tomato sauce and Mediterranean vegetables, (these were plentiful and varied). Absolutely delicious.
We really enjoyed our lunch & would definitely go back.
A lovely dinner, all of the four starters and mains we had were delicious and very well presented. Staff friendly and polite. Great range of gin, beer and ale on tap.

Arranged a 70th birthday party here for my Dad. Darrell and the team could not have been more friendly or accommodating with helping to organise a really enjoyable meal and event, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone who came really enjoyed themselves and said how much they had liked the food and drink which I thought was excellent and great value for money. We had exclusive use of the garden room which was a great size for 25 people with easy access to the lovely beer garden outside. Service was top notch and the staff were really excellent. I can't wait to return.
