Came here for new years eve. Provided local talent for the entertainment although the count down was a few seconds off it was generally a good night.. however I could hear from where I was sitting the landlord berating a customer for wanting to be served near mid night.. he had a face like a slapped arse most of the night to be fair.. first time here and ignoring the miserable landlord would come again as the drinks were reasonable priced how ever soft drinks there is little choice on what u get I was drinking coke through the night and when asking for a pint of coke was given coke zero from bottles poured into a glass, there is a smoking shelter to the back, a pool table and from the signs a snooker room upstairs.. not the fault of the club but parking is very difficult it is on a street where it is mostly permit only and local car parks have a time limit, the space behind the club is reserved for staff only from the signs I could see so plan accordingly

Nice cosy club. Lovely pool room and snooker room up stairs. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

Really nice man my car broke down earlier in the day,while I was waiting to be picked up I told him what happened and he refused to take any money for the drinks I ordered… decent people still do exist 👍

Friendly, helpful staff, and very reasonable prices. The selection of real ales isn't massive, but the ones available are always well kept. The function room is free to use and have used it a couple of times for parties. You don't need to be a member to go there. Nice club.
