Our aim is to provide you with a comfortable, warm, friendly and relaxing base for your holiday coupled with excellent, locally produced and ‘home cooked’ food washed down with the finest ales in the area or choose from a fine selection of wines.
Last but not least we have over 100 whiskies and over a dozen local Gins on offer to satisfy the connoisseur and novice alike.
There is, truly, no place like home, but the Kinlochewe Hotel aims to come a close second.
Please note: we have no TV’s in the rooms, lounge or bar. We do have plenty of books, games and good ol banter to keep you entertained.
As for the Internet, it is freely available (if somewhat slow at times), it is getting better (fiber optic may come soon!) and we do our upmost to keep you connected.

Such a gem, lovely family run hotel with an excellent restaurant, top notch scotch selection, comfortable rooms (we had a shared bathroom with another room, but it worked fine). There was also a nice place to sit and chat with other guests. We met some very interesting folks there, seems to be a great spot to wander the highland walking trails. Breakfast was good, owners were lovely. Would definitely stay again
Lovely old hotel located at end of beautiful loch. Our room (8) was updated with original furniture. Bathroom was spacious. Restaurant is the best.
We popped in for a bite to eat. The food was great and delicious (we had the lamb). The drinks pumps make a funny noise so you had a weird sound going on, but we found it quirky.
It’s a bit of a hidden gem this place. We (4 adults) topped here for dinner while camping a few doors down (highly recommend the Kinlochewe CAMC site). It felt a bit weird to enter via the hotel lounge area but that’s no big deal. We felt very welcome, the staff were fantastic, all happy to chat and great service with one guy happy to talk a fellow customer through a bunch of the whiskeys on offer. The food….ah the food. By far the best meal we had while exploring the area. The 4 of us all cleared our plates. The food was fresh, well presented and very reasonably priced. I saw some reviews complaining that the place was closed due to staffing issues – it is what it is in a small place like this, its not a city with a whole bunch of people looking for jobs. I’d much rather they close as needed rather than provide sub-standard food and service. Keep up the good work guys!
Booked in for food one evening with friends and we all really enjoyed it. Good menu backed up with a large selection of wine, beers and spirits. This was one of the few places we all went for three courses. Good to see it busy but you still felt relaxed and the service was great from the friendly staff.
