Welcoming, lovely staff a d the food is very good . A nice friendly atmosphere and I enjoyed every minute in this pub.
Enjoyed a nice meal of meat pie, chips and peas, very tasty, served nice and hot. The food is always nice, reasonable price for pub food. Clean eating area.
Poor service waited 20 minutes for a menu after eating was not offered a sweet menu and had to again ask for one. Then while still eating our sweet was asked to hurry and vacate the table as it was booked for someone else. Will not be going again.
Visited family this weekend and stopped in for lunch on Sunday. Found the children’s menu very limited, especially as my kids don’t really like chips. I also found the Sunday menu limited for anyone who doesn’t eat meat. I had the option of two dishes! Roast lunch without meat or scampi with chips. I understand that Sunday menus are not as extensive as a weekly menu but this had not been thought out at all. If you’re vegan/ vegetarian your only choice is a plate of watery, boiled, overcooked vegetables. They strangely have three types of steak and ale pie on the menu which are basically all the same but different prices.
Came to celebrate our Dad's 89th birthday and we certainly wasn't disappointed. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, Dad had the whale, I don't think I've ever seen a fish so big. Thank you everyone at Holly Bush for a wonderful time.
