They do not ensure safe parking at the pub and you are more than likely to attract a parking fine . I ended up with a £120 parking fine for no fault of mine .
Decent atmosphere, nice decor, just remember to take cash as the bar is cash only, which is pretty unusual in this day and age. Live Elvis tribute was pretty entertaining too, along with boxing on various TVs around the room.
We had a late lunch at the Pear Tree Hotel. So good. I had chicken and Leek pie... it came with excellent chips and peas. It really was a good choice. Undoubtedly, the best pie I've had for a long, long time. Our other meal was quiche, again with chips and peas. Both meals were excellent and plentiful. Plus a tasty pint of Abbots to accompany my meal. Good, food, good service........A great afternoon at the 🍐 🌳.
We came for a wedding, we were put in the outdoor function bit, only one heater was working so was cold, they did the food, but there wasn't much that we liked so can't really comment on that. Seems like a nice pub if you're drinking inside on a cold day. Would try again in future as it might be different
We went in for a drink, decided to have a shared ploughman's lunch, wow what a delight. Even brought some home. Very generous portions. Great staff and football on the TV, what more could you ask for 🎃
