Great little pub. Take the dog upto res for walk. Country pub let dog in landlord top bloke. We always enjoy our call in for pint
The landlady of this pub ensured that my daughter and her friends was safe after getting in to what they believed to be a legit taxi after attending park life. With quick thinking they ask the taxi to stop at this pub. The landlady realised how scared the girls was and personal drove them to the property which they was staying . Thank you so much for ensuring that these young ladies was safe from a very grateful mum x
Another one of those beautiful and cozy old pubs where you are not only being welcomed in a friendly way by the staff but even by the regulars. Lovely place to warm up the fire in winter or enjoy the weather in the beer garden in the summer. Great stop after an walk along the reservoir.
Thursday Night is Quiz & Pie Night usually and the pie is nice! Small inside but a small beer garden to the rear allows overflow of people who use it as a smoking area. In the evening you'll get bitten to death by midges as this pub is near a lot of trees. During the day there's a reasonably priced food menu which is very tasty.
