The staff where lovely but one member of staff accused me of having drugs on the premises and they were clearly hers!! She was an absolute whopper, twisted. She called the police saying they were mine. Very unprofessional and needs sacked. Was having a lovely stay until that happened. She was finding an exuse to start all day. The other staff where lovely and polite. Its a real shame. She is a tall chubby woman didnt catch her name but watch out for her. But its a beautiful pub mind. And quite good warm rooms not going to lie. Yous need to watch out for this woman i dont know if she is the manager but she is very dodgey. And according to a lot of these comments people have had similar issues with her!! She even accused me of grabbing her outside on phone to the police. Didnt touch her. That is how twisted she is!!
A very nice room only pub, good beer, great staff, the room we had was nice and the bed was very comfortable, we stayed here as it was a easy taxi ride to where we needed to be, the selection of beer, was very good and well priced. We shall stay here again.
Great clean room and bathroom. Pub clean and tidy. Friendly staff and reasonable price. Would recommend. Great location.
Massive over haul from the old Garrick. Much smarter and played good music all night. Had Karaoke on which was a good laugh. Good atmosphere.
If you looking for a place to stay I do not recommend this place the staff isn't sociable or even know what to do, and when manager came to assist us she was very ignorant and not very professional, I would give zero stars if it allowed me but u can. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, AND WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
