A great pub. You get a warm welcome as soon as you enter. Food delicious, all home made, with plenty of choice, dogs welcome and the atmosphere is perfect. Prices are realistic and not stupidly expensive. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed a fabulous visit to The Forester with friends this evening (Saturday 13th January). The food was exquisite (I had the beef and pancetta cottage pie and the cheesecake), the menu catered for the vegetarian/vegans in the group, and the general ambience was friendly and welcoming. This was my second visit to The Forester and I’ll definitely be back.
Beautiful pub and restaurant the food is amazing and the service was excellent and the staff are very friendly.
Wonderful traditional, cosy country pub, beautifully presented and decorated. Food is very creative and has a good selection on the menu for vegan and vegetarian options. What was really outstanding was the service: the young woman who attended to us was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful and impressively responsive and efficient; rarely have we felt so well looked after.
Me and my partner came to the forester today on our way home from a weekend away in Bournemouth. We had the roast beef Sunday lunch with red cabbage and cauliflower cheese and oh my gosh we were not disappointed. The food, service and pub itself is honestly impeccable. We live in Bristol but will definitely be travelling here when we next want a banging Sunday lunch and hopefully next time we will be able to fit in a dessert as they sounded beautiful. Thanks for having us guys x
