Traditional coaching inn on the A5 in the centre of the village.
The Foelas Arms at Pentrefoelas is your gateway to near Betws-y-Coed and Snowdonia National Park. As a small family-run business, we offer a warm welcome, very reasonably priced bed and breakfast accommodation and good food. Today the coaching route is the A5. Having recently undergone a change of ownership, this comfortable, old coaching inn has an excellent reputation for good food, fine wine and a relaxed atmosphere. Originally a farm which received its coaching licence in 1839, the Royal Mail coach once stopped here on its way from London through Betws-y-Coed to Holyhead. Nearby activities include golfing, fishing, go-karting, horse riding, white water rafting, walking and climbing mount Snowdon (or you could take the train).
A lovely old hotel, have spent many great weekends there, great food, cold Guinness, and it doesn't break the bank.
Great little pub. Friendly locals. Cheap pints. Owners like to come out for a pint and a chat later in the night. Great atmosphere. Stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage out back. Was amazing value for such a big self contained place. Will be back.
We stayed in the cottage behind the pub. Was a lovely place and the pub is small but friendly. My son ordered his first pint here, yes he ordered Guinness but he did drink half of it before the landlord swapped it for him
Best pub around!! Delicious food, friendly atmosphere and the owners are just fab!! 100% worth a visit, especially for the sunday carvery!
Lovely staff, very hospitable and friendly! Food is amazing, very reasonably priced and massive portions! Dogs allowed
