Thee pub was nice but the bar man has issues. I called in because my battery was flat and needed recovery after a vehicle accident and he preceeded to swear at me. Told me f off twice called me the c word every time he walked past. Made everything awkward told me I couldn't have a stool to sit even though I was wet cold and injured then told me to f off if I didn't buy a drink. It was a partial apology from the land lord phoned up the the manager told me to go down to complaine but I'm put off by there violent attitude but I will. Go down to see them face to face if that's what they want but i wont be alone . And my dogss will need a drink of water I was getting my bike ready for recovery about his staffs attitude but its still not acceptable andd alot of the punters look very 🔞 underage. I will be calling in ther for glasses of water as itys against human rights to refuse water and they have to give tap water free wouldn't recommend sticky carpet pub!!!!!
Amazing place enjoyed beautiful food , been in past 100 better now toilets lovely and clean and no dog hairs anywhere Well done to the lovely new mangers keep up amazing work
The staff were lovely unfortunately we can't say the same for the food. We ordered 2 steaks, one rare and one medium. Unfortunately they were both RAW. I asked mine, the rare, to be cooked some more but even then the inside was stone cold and raw. My husbands steak, which he ordered medium, was just raw. Neither of us ate their steak and we were so put off by it we didn't even ask again to have it cooked some more. The steak on top of the peas was ordered rare and is the second time they've cooked it. The second picture is of my husbands steak which was ordered medium but when cut in half was just raw. Needless to say we won't be returning.
Don't bother. The owner/manager has no personality, seems depressed, no greeting, no smile, did not feel welcome... The food was microwaved, ordered hunters chicken for £8 something you don't expect it to be microwaved at that cost. looked good, don't be fooled, see picture..
We have eaten here before and it's always been pleasant but recently got taken over by new management and wanted to try it again. We were greeted warmly by the new manager and as it was quiet we had free range of where to sit. Food was prompt and tasty, would definitely visit again.
