We had a great time having booked this pub for a weekend for 10 of us. It is cosy and full of character. We were supplied beer on tap and made use of the well equipped kitchen to cook our meals. The rooms are clean, tidy and well presented with en suites and tea & coffee making facilities in each. Parking wasn't an issue as there are spaces on the street outside the inn. Owners were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Although it still calls itself an inn, it's not a pub and its not open to the public. This is now only available as private holiday accommodation. There is no dedicated parking with this property, renters just have to hope to find a space on the narrow lanes nearby, which are already full of local residents

A party of 7 booked The Fitzhead Inn for a long weekend away. We arrived on the Friday afternoon to a welcoming Landlord named David, who took the time to show us all the rooms and was friendly and efficient. The rooms were all warm and cosy with very comfortable beds and en suites to every room. Tea making facilities provided in each room and a TV for entertainment. We purchased 2 barrels, in total which was Exmoor Ale and a Birra Poretti and it was fun being able to actually pull our own pints. The amount of clean glasses is amazing, the cleaner of the place does a wonderful job. The kitchen has everything a good chef would need and more. The 7 of us really enjoyed our weekend at The Inn and if I'm being really really picky, the only thing I have to moan about is the state of the dartboard, looks like it's been thrown at for many years and probably could do with replacing soon, but that's nothing really.

Quirky, pleasant comfortable place suitable for parties of around 10 people to relax with a bar snug and large kitchen, if you want it. Parking in village but not a problem,. Two steps up into bar/snug area having a good hand rail so not too bad for disabled. There bedrooms at ground level, very clean, comfortable with showers etc. Owner very helpful and arranges beer/cider etc.. Yes I would go again but upgrade my satnav unit as you get to it through proper Somerset lanes!!

Friendly welcome. Well presented rooms, comfy beds. Dinner on both nights was lovely and reasonably priced. Pleasant courtyard to enjoy. Attentive service without being overbearing. All staff were friendly and made the stay more enjoyable. Would recommend despite the satnav taking us on some very interesting routes to get there.
