Went to a birthday party in the function room and stayed the night in the hotel. Lovely hotel, great meal at the party, breakfast next day was great too. Staff are great, there to help. Went for a wander around the town itself before the party which is nice too. Recommend
I had the most lovely day it is always a great place to go to. The staff are so welcoming whenever you go and the food is always excellent. The lounge and the restaurant have been really thought out light and airy . It is one of the best places around to visit.
Very noisy all night as guests came /went - maybe for airport. They tried to be quiet but the hotel doors banged. Room very hot - even with thermostat on low. Couldn't open window as catch broken Pretty poor night overall!
Lovely stay, lovely place, lovely area. I didn't get his name, but my praise to the guy who looks after the hotel after hours - he made a terrible flight experience of mine that much more bearable and went above and beyond, including personally making me a sandwich when I mentioned I hadn't eaten and everywhere was closed. He should be manager
Never been before but as soon as I entered the bar area I liked it. Nice decor, comfortable, light, airy and clean. We ordered drinks and some food in the bar. Food was fine. Staff were great and attentive and friendly. It was quiet when we went,whic I prefer. The glasses were clean but the pitcher jug looked a little grubby so 1 star down for that! I have a thing for clean glassware! My kind of place and I'd definitely go again. It was nice at the time of our visit not to have noisy kids, loud people - or dogs, (don't think they're allowed here), which these days it's hard not to encounter! The staff we had contact with were super! I'm sure this place would be nice to stay overnight.
