Went on the first day of our honeymoon for dinner. Cosy, aesthetically pleasing setting for AMAZING food! Argentine-inspired SMOKY flavours fused with traditional Skye seasonal cuisine. Beautifully presented, exquisitely executed, experimental yet hearty food which felt like fine dining without the pomp or pretentiousness. Great local ale and soft drinks options too!
Had the loveliest stay at the Dunvegan. A warm and welcoming hotel with incredible food. Amazing steak and 5* breakfast. Blair the owner even emailed afterwards to say we’d left a jacket which she popped in the post. We hope to stay again.
Great food and atmosphere. There are a variety of vegetarian options, all of which looked amazing. I had the aubergine which was delicious. My friend had the rump steak, that she really enjoyed it. If coming to Skye I would highly recommend.
rating of 3,5 stars for the hotel We stayed here for 2 nights. The room itself is spacious and was very tidy. Some things to notice: a small showercabin that works with and oldfashioned shower system (to get the shower working, you have to draw the string). Overall the room feels a bit outdated and could use some modern improvements such as a modern bathroom, leveling the floor and checking in on moisture levels. Breakfast is A grade with very good coffee. Also the food in the restaurant is delicious! Fresh and local produce on a grill, loved it. Still a had a good stay in Skye, friendly staff and certainly good pricing but we prefer it a bit more modern.
Very tasty good, beautifully presented. Lovely staff. Crab donuts were amazing and best steak we’ve had in a long time! Must book ahead, this restaurant is deservedly hard to get into. I also love the sustainability focus
