Just a brilliant pub, Potion no.9 is an outstanding beer, and it's always our first pit stop on our way to watch Pirates!!!! Really friendly welcome!
Had a lovely experience here. ☺️ Ended up here accidentally when looking for a place to eat without any success. They weren't doing food, but the bar staff and locals were super helpful in trying to guide us to places that might be able to feed us. Nethertheless, we decided to stay here and have a drink and some crisps while playing games (frustration and pop up pirate) that were available for us. It was a very homely feeling place, and the bar man offered to share his holiday chocolate gift with my girls as we were missing our late lunch. Felt very taken care of and welcomed here. Highly recommend if you are on the outskirts of Penzance, right on the coast, and looking for a local pub. Nice beer to top it off, too. I had the potion No.9. Lovely. Thank you.
Decent pub with a lovely decorated interior. Several cask beers on and the two i had were well kept. Friendly staff and locals.
Cornish pub selling top quality Cornish beer. Pool table and outdoor seating. Very tidy rooms available with hot breakfast served in the room.
Really surprised at how nice the place is for the price! By far the best hotel we've stayed at in our 80-120 pound price range. Very clean spacious modern rooms, friendly barkeep led us up and showed us around. generous amenities tea snacks hot chocolate nice big fluffy towels everything id expect from a hotel twice the price. There's a hot breakfast included and the fridge is stocked. Couldn't be happier.
