Great location. Large rooms but need refurbishing. Jay was an excellent host. I enjoy nighttime music and atmosphere.
Oh dear. What a shame. We've stayed here before and had a lovely time. This time however was not so nice. The room hadn't been cleaned when we got there. There was old and used shampoo, and shower gel bottles left in the bathroom, hairs all over the bathroom floor and nasty looking stains on the duvet and pillows. Not nice! Also on the website it says there is a disco available till 3am. What this doesn't make clear is that the "disco" can be heard throughout the whole hotel and is ridiculously loud. It was basically like trying to sleep in a nightclub. Also the shower door looked very loose and dodgy. I wouldn't be surprised if one day that falls on someone. We did ask them to clean the room and they did change the sheets and take away the pillow but there were still hairs on the floor and they didn't take the old shampoo bottles. Dear oh dear.
This is a very busy bar.. but its totally worth going to if tou ate in chester. All staff are friendly even when they are so rushed and busy. The owners jason and John are just the best couple and hosts.. jason was on the stage outside as they put on shows in the courtyard. Different offers in drinks. There is seating areas. Dance floors. Inside an outside. Rooms to accommodate what u like. Many different bars to get served at.. the guys also own the Vic which is adjacent to the commercial.. must visit.
Pleasantly surprised. I'd never been they had an outside stage and shop which was very busy. The bars all needed more staff and more payment machines. Drinks were good. Bouncers in sight so felt safe and toilets were busy an staffed.
