Had our first family Christmas dinner out today. What a wonderful experience, fabulous food, great service & staff. Thank you all so much for making our Christmas Day so special x
Visited the pub for the second time. The first we had a rude member of staff the second time was even worse and we walked out. They say they have a friendly atmosphere on the board as you walk in but clearly there are some members of staff that don't live up to this. There are others that do but on two occasions we have had bad eggs. We won't be giving this place our money ever again and can't recommend it. My first bad review I've ever left on Google reviews
Personally for me if you are only going to offer a roast on a Sunday it has to be memorable. Mine was but unfortunately for the wrong reasons. Firstly bar the potatoes mine came with no vegetables not a problem my family shared, I wish they hadn’t if I had wanted to take up darts I could of used the carrots this was followed by soggy, cold roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings that were like cardboard.
Nice Sunday dinner, fresh vegetables and tasty chicken. Cheese pie was nice but a little bit dry. Desserts lovely. Eton mess cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake.
Lovely pub. Very dog friendly. Great outdoor area with heating. Staff really pleasent. Only slight draw back is menue is a little limited for choice. Will definitely be returning.
