Fantastic pub, child friendly, staff are friendly, attentative, and very welcoming hosts. Food options are great, and portions are better than expected. Everything was cooked properly and had flavour.
Popped in for Sunday dinner. I had the trio of meats, and it was excellent, I don't think the photo does it justice. The local IPA was delicious. I looked at the apple crumble and I thought that doesn't look like an apple crumble, but it was lovely. Empty plates all round. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The building is very old, so a few wonky floors and walls which add to the place. If you are looking for a good Sunday dinner, I would definitely recommend this place.
Lovely place with great food, owners and service. Perfect spacious beer garden to eat with our dog. Was a nice way to round off our little getaway. Will come again next time we travel. Put in a good word in our cottage guest book 👍🏻.
A superb slow roast pork belly dinner served with a great Portugese red wine. Excellent hosts who catered to us with their personal touch. Thank you.
So lovely to see this place open again! Staff were so welcoming and polite, fantastic service! Enjoyed a Sunday roast and delicious desserts plus a hot coffee. Can't wait to come back and try some Portuguese specials!
